Where to Buy Fiberglass

See, we have a huge basement that my man is working so hard to fix up. And he wants to start having our regular poker games down there, because our dining room only fits 8, and our friend is selling his house where ten or more of us get together.
Now, he’s a lot older than me, and deafness runs in his family. He can’t swing 8K for good hearing aids, the other ones don’t work, and I haven’t found a new job in this economy. But my god, half of the guys, and me, too, are going to be tense and frustrated because the noise will send some of us through the roof!
So, how can we acoustically help the basement?
He says a carpet and an acoustical ceiling will work, but I really think it won’t, because he’s already too lud in our dining room upstairs, and I think we need a lot of shock-absorbent walls down there!
Also, we need to close this off, beacuse there’s no way we can afford to treat the entire perimeter of oru ranch house basement.
Last piece- we live in a flood area, and just tore out an old, rotten room form the last owners in 2007.
